Coherence

History

Cohérence is a Japanese outerwear brand specializing in high-quality coats for men. It was founded in 2015 by Kentaro Nakagomi, a designer with extensive training in textiles, design, and tailoring. His passion for classic coats and inspiration from legendary 20th-century artists and intellectuals such as Le Corbusier, Jean Cocteau, and Pablo Picasso led to the creation of Cohérence.

Timeless

The collection includes various models, including the "Corb" coat, inspired by Le Corbusier, and the "Marc" coat, reminiscent of the painter Marcel Duchamp. These coats combine classic designs with modern accents that capture the spirit of the times. Cohérence pursues the principle of longevity – in both design and craftsmanship. The clean lines, subtle details, and meticulous construction make each coat a long-term companion.

Craftmanship

The focus is on uncompromising quality: Manufactured in Japan, the coats are crafted from innovative fabrics such as water-repellent jersey tweed or ultralight gabardine – materials that combine the look of a classic wool fabric with the functional properties of modern high-tech textiles. The result is trench coats that not only look stunning, but also retain their shape and elegance even in changeable weather and during daily use.
